Teacher Profile
An international Chinese teacher helping students learn language through culture, communication, and real-life experiences.
Introduction
Some teachers meet language in a classroom. I met it on the street — ordering coffee in Tokyo, arguing about film with friends, learning how a single particle can change the warmth of a sentence.
I teach the way I learned: through people, culture, and everyday moments. When we meet online for an hour, we are not doing exercises. We are having a real conversation, in a language that is slowly becoming yours.
My story
My name is Minshan. I am a Chinese girl from Guangdong Province, and I grew up surrounded by a culture that taught me to care about food, family, creativity, and the way people talk to each other.
Since 2019 I have been living internationally. I moved to Tokyo, Japan, where I spent four years studying photography. Japanese didn't arrive through textbooks — it arrived through daily life, study, and long conversations with local people.
After Japan, I moved to Singapore to complete my higher education in Business Administration. Living in three very different countries taught me the thing I now teach: language is how people from different backgrounds actually find each other.

Creative life
Besides teaching languages, I also work as a freelance model, actress, and clothing designer. These worlds let me explore fashion, visual storytelling, and self-expression — the same instincts I bring to a lesson.
My long-term dream is to create my own fashion brand, combining creativity, culture, and personal identity.
Teaching philosophy
Learning a language is not only about memorizing vocabulary and grammar. Through my experiences living in China, Japan, and Singapore, I help students learn Chinese in a practical, natural way.
We speak about your actual life, not textbook dialogues.
Why people say it that way — not just what to say.
Language you can use the same week you learn it.
The goal is simple: speaking without fear.
2019 — Present
Whether you are interested in learning Chinese, exploring Chinese culture, collaborating on creative projects, or exchanging new ideas, I would love to hear from you.
